Artist
Benjamino’s entire working life has revolved around music, from teaching 5-year-olds their first song on the piano to recording some of the world’s most renowned artists; Benjamino has experienced it all. A multi-instrumentalist with a passion for songwriting and music production, the release of their self-produced debut EP, titled Open Up The Vault, was an inevitability.
Since then, Benjamino has attracted the attention of Indie Soul fans all over the globe, gaining a reputation for creating tracks full of vibe, groove and wit. Their music has been showcased on MTV Australia & NZ, featured on Channel 31's 1700, and spun on radio in both Australia and abroad including prominent stations like Triple J, ABC Radio, FBi, 4ZZZ, and SYN Media.
In 2023, they released their first collaboration with fellow Wollongong artist meadowhip, called On Repeat, to praises from fans and industry alike. They subsequently embarked on a tour of Australia’s East Coast, their intimate shows selling out venues in both capital cities and regional areas.
Currently, Benjamino is preparing their upcoming single In The Shadows, expected to be released in February 2024, and will be the first offering from their long awaited debut album.
Producer
Since 2022, Benjamino has been an Executive Producer at DROP, an Audio House of like-minded creatives in Wollongong, Australia. While working there, they have experienced nearly everything the audio industry can offer, such as:
Recording and Mixing live broadcasts at the Sydney Opera House, for iconic artists including Arlo Parks, Vance Joy, Camp Cope and Martha Marlow.
Frolicking in the mud of North Byron Parklands at the 2022 Splendour in the Grass festival, recording international acts for Triple J.
Tracking voice-over actors for Disney Plus, Netflix and ABC productions.
Producing established and up-and-coming artists at DROP’s renowned recording studio.
Editing Audiobooks for publishing houses such as Penguin Random House and CSIRO.
Lil’ Sweetie
Benjamino (known by friends, family and the government as Benjamin Cauduro) is based on the sunny shores of Dharawal/Wollongong, Australia. Outside of music, they somehow finds the time for other interests. These include;
Languages - having mastered English a few years ago they’re now learning Italian and French.
Sport - whether it’s watching the Wallabies lose again, or dreaming of representing Australia at the 2032 Olympics for European Handball, he can’t get enough of it.
Film & Television - favourites include Life Is Beautiful (La Vita È Bella), Severance and When Harry Met Sally.
Food - you may have noticed the references to food on the home page? Yeah, Ben really likes food!
